Household Chores – How they can keep you fit, active and feeling good

Doing the housework is not something most of us are keen to do. However these somewhat mundane tasks can go a long way in assisting you to keep active and maintain reasonable fitness levels.
Just think about the degree of physical activity involved in say doing the dusting, the vacuuming, the laundry just to name a few household chores.
The more active we are the more fit we are going to be and the better we are going to feel both physically and mentally.
Apart from the fitness benefits derived from housework, we are going to feel a sense of satisfaction and achievement in knowing our home is clean and tidy. When everything is in disarray this can cause undue stress and anxiety which is not good for our health. If things are left unchecked for a lengthy period of time we may become so overwhelmed by it all that we just won't be sufficiently motivated to get on with putting things right.
Tackling daily tasks with enthusiasm and determination is a sure way to achieving your goals and maintaining a fulfilling lifestyle.
Don't let things get on top of you. Make sure you keep on top of things. This way you will stay fit and healthy and enjoy life more as you move on in your senior years.
